Hi! I’m Steph, I’m a Director of Adapt for Arts CIC and a Director of Good Technologies.

Since 2014, Adapt for Arts has been helping cultural organisations achieve their fundraising, sustainability and business development goals. More recently our focus has been working on cultural development and creative entrepreneur programmes internationally.

Good Technologies manages GoodCRM, a cloud software solution designed specifically to support the cultural and charity sectors with all sorts of useful functionality.

I am based in Manchester with my husband, Tom, and my beloved canine, Henry.

My experience

For over 6 years I worked freelance, delivering fundraising consultancy and training contracts for organisations like the Crafts Council, Sound & Music and the Royal College of Music. Since 2015 I have raised over £12 million for the cultural sector.

I am so proud to have founded Adapt for Arts CIC in 2014, and since then, my co-Director, Dana Segal, and I have supported 50+ arts and culture organisations to become more sustainable.

I joined Good Technologies in 2021. I drive forward the business strategy and growth, whilst ensuring GoodCRM meets the needs and desires of our amazing third sector clients.

I am an alumnus of University of the Arts London, Manchester School of Art & Leeds University, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Trustee of Venture Arts.

How I can help

Over the course of my career I have loved helping people and organisations to reach their career, organisational or funding goals.

I no longer work on a freelance basis offering this support, but am always open to opportunities to have conversations, or be involved in initiatives in a voluntary capacity.

Do get in touch if you need a representative of the arts and cultural sector, or a contribution from a woman in a leadership role within the socially driven technology industry!

My specialisms are funding, international creative entrepreneurship, disability access and social technology solutions.

Steph has been a massive support in helping me think about the next steps for my practice, and going for Arts Council funding to make it happen.

Her insight, advice and expertise has been invaluable - from early discussions, encouraging me to think big and focus on what I really want to develop creatively and professionally, to giving detailed feedback on my writing, and helping me shape it into a solid (and ultimately successful) proposal.
